So my darling Work BFF – Kenny – is going back to Florida. Probably forever. When he and I realized his leaving was imminent, we put together a little list of all the things we talked about doing.

Last night we crossed off two and a half of those things: 

1. Big Wangs 

2. Jumbo’s Clown Room

And when Jumbo’s sucked…

I know stripping goes against all my feminist values – but I find the women and their confidence alluring. The drunky girl who stumbled on the stage and fell down the pole was a little disconcerting. And the coked out one who moved too fast was just uncomfortable. But I love all the women – their beauty and their curves and their camaraderie. I know from personal experience that pole dancing is difficult and takes massive skill. Overall, a taboo type of fun, which is my favorite type of fun.
