I really, truly love being alone. I always have. As a result, I’ve been on the hunt for great places to venture solo too since I was thirteen. Mostly, this takes me to nature. An unpopulated location where I can sit and just appreciate what’s around me. I’ve been in LA for about 9 months now, and it’s not that easy to find locations where I can be alone and find a little peace and serenity without a bum walking up to me.

So to find my specific little patch Santa Monica State Beach was a gift. Im always in Santa Monica anyways, so it’s become a common practice for me to wander down to the sand. Sometimes I just sit, sometimes I enter the water, sometimes I don’t leave the the little sidewalk. No matter what, I’m so blessed to have found this little quiet place.
